Bill to merge New Orleans court clerks clears legislature, awaits Jeff Landry's signature

Wednesday’s vote was the final approval needed before the bill goes to Gov. Landry to be signed into law. Criminal Clerk of Court Calvin Duncan is set to take office Monday.
